sudo apt purge language-pack-uk language-pack-gnome-uk 2. mate-keyboard-properties Everything worked fine, but the interface was in English; 3. sudo apt install language-pack-uk language-pack-gnome-uk 4. mate-keyboard-properties Crash again; 5. I put the corrected translation file as described here: https://github.com/mate-desktop/libmatekbd/issues/55 6. mate-keyboard-properties Everything is working fine. I can assume that we put the wrong file in the update.
