We all know that template list for Ubuntu was too long, but I think
blindly slicing it is not optimal.
It would be easier to find anything if templates were tagged or grouped
into categories, like GNOME, KDE, essential, documentation, etc, with
simple menu to choose displayed group. It could be also used for
advanced rights management.
Is such thing planned for Rosetta?
