Hello, after I have subscribed to this mailing list I want to introduce myself:
Name: Steffen Eibicht (Launchpad Account is the same) Age: 33 Job: automotive engineer Ubuntu user: since 2008 I am member of the german translators Team. Yesterday I got a new role: I will test the updated german language packs. This will be done at first in Jaunty and after its final release I will also do this for Karmic. I will post the results, including a list of the mistakes and a recommendation if the language-pack should be used or not, on this mailing list then. Today I will start with the work on the language-pack for Jaunty which was uploaded into the ppa https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-langpack/+archive/ppa/ at 13th of october. So, I am looking forward to have some fun while doing some work for the best operating system available ;-) If you have any suggestions or any addition/ correction to the testing work I have described, please feel free to point me on them.
