My idea is to scrap the offline hompage entirely. I feel that if a user opens the browser and is offline, that information should immediately be made clear to him through an error message. The purpose of opening a browser is to access the internet (not to find out about Ubuntu) and if the user doesn't have a working internet account, I don't think it's fair to give a screen which looks a bit like a webpage. I've raised this with the firefox maintainer and there is a spec in place dealing with similar issues: we'll see how it goes. -- Matthew East http://www.mdke.org gnupg pub 1024D/0E6B06FF -- ubuntu-translators mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-translators
