Thanks for the heads up on this.

I could not confirm it, as I'm not sure how to view that string.

Do you think you could report a bug against update-manager with the
exact steps to reproduce it?

You can also add an ubuntu-translations bug task so that we can keep
track of it as a translations bug. To do this, simply click on the "Also
affects project" link after having filed the bug, and then enter
'ubuntu-translations' without the quotes in the textbox shown. You might
need to click on the "Choose another project" before the textbox is
shown. Once you've done that, simply click on "Continue" and then on
"Add to bug report"
