Problably the month names are fetched directly from the Polish locale (not checked, though), and in that case you won't find them as translatable strings anywhere. The need to use genitive in some contexts appears to be present for several languages, and there is some work being done to glibc upstream right now to establish a solution to this issue: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10871 Probably it would be best to await the outcome of that effort.
