Welcome! There is also a list and a wiki page for the Spanish translators with complete instructions and guidelines: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuSpanishTranslators/ Usually, our work as translators is to go to launchpad.net and translate program strings to Spanish. Newcomer translations are reviewed by members of language teams. When the translations are regarded as high quality, translators can join the teams and are granted the privilege to translate without reviews. If you have any question, please, ask. Enjoy!
