Hey,
Thanks for the question. I don't know but please give it a try and let
us know if it's not working by reporting a bug on
https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-desktop-installer/issues
Cheers,

This is great news, hoping that more and more components will ditch
Launchpad in favour of more modern platforms.
Just a quick question, is there RTL support for our weird middle
eastern languages?
Thank you,

Hey there,
There is a new Ubuntu Desktop Installer in the work and it's now
translatable on
https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/ubuntu-desktop-installer/ubuntu-desktop-installer/
For those wondering the choice of platform, the frontend is
written in
flutter and there is no integration in launchpad for that translation
format so we checked around and weblate sounded like the right choice.
You only need to do the translation work on the website and the
update
will automatically be proposed for merging to the github repository.
Note that weblate integrates an 'automatic translation' item in the
tools menu which allows you to automatically import existing
translations as either suggestion or directly as translations.
Since the
interface is similar to the ubiquity one and often use the same
strings
we imported the current ubiquity translations which combined with the
previously mentioned feature should allow to start easily your
translations by reusing the work done on ubiquity.
