Hi Paul Well - I've found some basic info The session was at Charity fair on 14/04/05 and titled "Open source software,GNU-Linux and the Voluntary sector" The speaker was Werner van Staden, and also a woman whose name I don't seem to have Werner had set-up an IT project using Ubuntu for an organisation called MeWe (www.MeWe.org.uk)
There is a means of contacting Verner from their web-site here: http://www.mewe.org.uk/intouch/index.php?option=com_contact&task=view&co ntact_id=2&Itemid=3 Do you want to try and contact him - or shall I? -Adrian -----Original Message----- From: Paul Sladen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 11 March 2006 11:40 To: British Ubuntu Talk Subject: RE: [ubuntu-uk] Ubuntu Advocacy - CharityFair [Scanned] On Fri, 10 Mar 2006, Adrian Mitchell wrote: Hello Adrian, > I did attend a short (1 hour) session at last years Charityfair that > was billed as an introduction to Linux for the voluntary sector - and > used Ubuntu as it's example.
