[ubuntu-uk] problem with p5ld2 deluxe mother bored

I had nothing but trouble trying to install ubuntu with this motherboard. Could someone help me if you had success with the same motherboared,
when the partitons part comes, it is not showing me the hard disks, it cant allocate them, ive tried 2 live cds (KNOPPIX AND GENTOO) and nither do they found my hard disks.
What can i do?
