There was an update of the above announced on my machine this morning and I dutifully went ahead and downloaded it. I was running Dapper and Linux 2.6.15-26-386.
On returning home and booting up after lunch I find that I am without a desktop. At present I am using Hoary to send this email. I am merely an Ubunbtu user and have no knowledge of the finer workings of the command line. Perhaps someone can suggest how I can get back to the Dapper desktop. I would be most appreciative.
