Personally I wouldn't install RealPlayer if I were you. I used to
install it but since I found that you can play realplayer streams (like
those on the BBC website) without using realplayer I stopped using it.
Instead I have totem-mozilla, totem-xine and w32codecs. Doing this means
you don't have to faff around at all with links and plugins, it's all
sorted by the packages.
