Apologies, I've at last got f-spot to load (from a different google entry).
But I'm afraid that it is nowhere near as powerful as iphoto.  Anyone with
other suggestions for a program that has all the facilities of iphoto but is
not as versitile or as complicated as Gimp.  Robin
