Not sure about "restricted" and "mutliverse", but "main" and "universe" should be safe. If the signing system in apt is used surely it doesn't matter how the files got to you it would be extremely difficult to maliciously alter them and still get a valid signature for them. Of course I could be wrong, I don't know as much about apt as I should.
