I put a live CD (not Ubuntu) in my wife's Vista laptop the other day and
good old Windows happily informed me "There are errors on this disc" and
also offered to "fix them".  Thinking that should be fun I let it get on
with it only to be told that the disc was beyond repair and that I should
contact my vendor immediately. Not too sure how it was going to 'repair'
a CD mind you.

I'm sure that something similar would be interpreted as an error by many
people.
