       javed right about here is where some samrt ass says there are never any 
problems only solutions, or something of that ilk that while being true is so 
infuriating when you cant see the solutions yourself, ce la vie mon ami! bon

news!After a bit of googling I discovered "WinFF" which is a cross 
platform'frontend' to ffmpeg. It looks pretty easy to use, and more importantly 
foryou, it's a graphical application :)http://biggmatt.com/winff/Download at 
the above site and install with gdebi (it will then pull inffmpeg from the
