I hear that a number of network admins are teachers that fell into the role part time through a coincidence of knowing how to use a computer, not because of their being specialists. I imagine that it's only the larger schools that have budgets to staff the role full time, and I haven't personal experience of how they go about filling their positions. - -- Stephen O'Neill w: http://www.thefloatingfrog.co.uk/ e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFH6k1gJ+Auntu1v4QRAqPHAKCB3wapAuCpX13NKvmzvhUhXoY/zwCeMpXF sBrlWzLf4KTUeyzY6UfTevs= =BWaU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.kubuntu.org/UKTeam/
