Two things to note:

* It is cheaper than hiring a dedicated Ubuntu specialist 24x7 to fix
  any problems you have
* I am sure Canonical will negotiate price with you if you need support
  for a lot of servers :-)

Its a lot of money, but not an unresonable amount.
