I'd like to see the percentages who buy the magazine for the DVD...
I'm not convinced it's that great, though I guess sometimes it can
affect "impulse buying" with people buying a magazine specifically for
whatever software is on it - goodness knows I've done it!

But would a cheaper non-DVD version really push the price up?

Is it LXF or Linux Magazine who now have a PDF version at a cheaper
price?  It's one of them because it was mentioned in a reply to a
letter a couple of editions ago - the one with Hardy on its cover.
