just realised, it's not all fine several things uninstalled themselves when i moved my pc back to my internetless room - nvidia driver, totem-gstreamer and several of it's plugins, and a few other things :( Which is all well annoying... so _some_ videos play, but others complain of a missing codec, and some still play in the wrong colour in certain programs, or change colour after being converted :O help!?
