Splendid! Many thanks - I've tried this and will let you know how I get on. It's still missing the odd keystroke even under Metacity, though. Definitely much worse than 8.x was. (In the last 2 lines, I lost about a dozen keystrokes. Only app running is Firefox, system load is just a few %.) A friend tells me there are kernel issues on some notebooks with 9.04 - anyone read of this? -- Liam Proven • Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/liamproven Email: [email protected] • GMail/GoogleTalk/Orkut: [email protected] Tel: +44 20-8685-0498 • Cell: +44 7939-087884 • Fax: + 44 870-9151419 AOL/AIM/iChat/Yahoo/Skype: liamproven • LiveJournal/Twitter: lproven MSN: [email protected] • ICQ: 73187508 -- [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
