Hi Alan, My wife had a similar problem with 7.10 and 8.04, and the default versions of Firefox that were installed on them. Intermittently, it prompts to download/save a .aspx or some other binary file. Whatever option you choose, a bit of the web page goes missing. My workaround was to install the Windows version of Firefox using Wine, but I'll also try Epiphany. It's a bit confusing (at least for me!) to have to use a different Firefox icon on her desktop when I want to visit tesco.com...
