I love my Kindle 3G. However, I'm already running into the limitations of the 6" screen with PDFs. Depending on the number of books you need, buying the tree copy or just reading on a netbook may work out better than shelling out another £100+ for a gadget to do the same thing. Try and find someone who has one so you can see it in the flesh, sorry, plastic. It won't be difficult. :) Then you can decide if it will work well enough for your needs.
