Hi Just a quick reminder that the Herefordshire Open Source Day is happening this Saturday March 26 at All Saints, High Street, Hereford HR4 9AA, 10am – 4pm. It's a free drop-in event so if you are in the area do call in. The HOSS (Herefordshire Open Source Star) Awards are being presented to the winners at 1:45pm by the Mayor of Hereford and then Dr Mark Wright is speaking at 2pm on his experience of Open Source in local government.
We are expecting members of the council ICT team as well as Herefordshire councillors to be present. We are also expecting a range of people from the business community, the voluntary sector, education as well as general users who are interested in finding out more about Open Source and Linux Canonical have supported our event so we have lots of Ubuntu discs to give away. We also have our own Open Source custom disc and some other distro's. there is more info on our website at http://www.herefordshire.lug.org.uk/node/63 So if you fancy a daytrip to Hereford we'd be pleased to see you Sarah -- [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
