I got the answer - ppd is an open standard from Adobe, so I was able to get the spec. file from there. A couple of amended co-ordinates did the trick. QUESTION: This is not an Ubuntu bug as the driver is a proprietary one from Brother. Is there an official channel for reporting this (and sending the solution) via Ubuntu to Brother?
