Hi folks,

I've just got a HP MicroServer which I am installing 64-Bit Ubuntu 10.04 on to (I believe it was the 10.04.3 Server ISO I used).

The installation appears to have gone fine which is great, but when it boots up it seems to boot into some sort of graphical text mode, whilst the font is pretty it also won't fit on the screen, I loses about the first 5 characters of the screen.

I've tried auto adjusting the screen (it's a 15" LCD with a native resolution of 1024x768) but it won't make any difference.

If it helps the server has an ATI graphics chipset in it, I believe it's a Radeon HD4200.

I just wondered if there was any way of tweaking it to get it back to bog standard VGA mode?

Ta,

Rob
