That sounds a lot like a script tried to download a sources.list file for medibuntu and got a webpage (probably telling you about an error) instead. If you remove /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list then try the aptitude commands Simon recommended again. If you're getting errors about broken dependencies there is probably more wrong than this but if we get to the next error hopefully that has some clues...
