get your points about open standards and free software across at a very
high level.

It would be good to have some Ubuntu folk apply for this, I think there
is a genuine desire not to have a board stuffed with partners of large
well known proprietary software suppliers, so you are in with a chance.
It isn't a massive commitment, about one day a month.
