Hello All

One for any Thinkpad owners using Ubuntu

Just bought a second hand Thinkpad X200s, and it runs Ubuntu 12.04 from a USB
stick really nicely, with the basics working fine (I mainly need suspend to
ram).

I'd like to be able to restore the hard drive including the recovery partition
to its original state in case I want to pass the laptop on (came with Vista
Business).

I've used clonezilla to image the whole drive including the mbr, using these
shortform instructions

http://www.forwestmedia.com/resources/how-to-guides/using-clonezilla-to-create-and-restore-disk-images/

I have reason to believe the result will be restorable, see

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=75378

especially the last post on that page.

Anyone done this? Had any issues restoring?

Cheers
