The Virgin Super Hub is absolute shite. I really miss my old Scientific Atlanta modem. I'm not sure the 60 mbit update was worth the change. The good news is, as of a software release about 2 years back, you can put them in modem mode (public IP direct to your router). If you want to get anywhere near 60 mbit I suggest you use modem mode and use a decent router. Warning: in modem mode, only the rightmost Ethernet socket works, and if you change the device connected to it, you must reboot the Super Hub. Apparently I have version 1. You can access the setup page on http://192.168.100.1 regardless of the IP configuration, though.
