-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi
I run the Torbay Tech Jam a monthly tech event that wsa formerly the Torbay Raspberry Pi jam. I just wondered if there were any Ubuntu Snappy experts in South Devon (or anywhere for that matter) who could perhaps come along to a future event and chat about it, and maybe demo. how it can be used. IIRC it is linked to the Internet Of Things so maybe if the pi GPIO can be hooked to a temperature sensor for example and a phone can receive the data. As I am no where near an expert at any of this I think it could make a useful discussion idea for a future meet and may help bring people in who are also interested in finding out more, perhaps at the same time may get people in to helping with development. Just a thought, if anyone can help or suggest if this is possible I would be grateful. Same would go for if anyone has Ubuntu Mate running they could perhaps demo that on a Pi 2. Torbay has several very hi tech companies in the area world leading phonics for example. so there is some potential to engage with those companies. If we can pull things together in the right way but still keep the tech jam informal. thanks Paul Sutton - -- http://www.zleap.net @zleap14 @zleap14 diaspora : [email protected] Documentation lead @ ToriOS http://www.torios.org Torbay Tech Jam http://torbaytechjam.org.uk -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iEYEARECAAYFAlV/RbkACgkQaggq1k2FJq3v4gCfRmHinCKwU9QDDk1K1JmBukXQ tXwAn1rssMMdI0mvGMShGm4PCNLuJYxo =i34X -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UKTeam/
