I had actually considered all of those things and factored them into the idea of whether or not a podcast would be feasible. I'm glad you've had some experience and chimed in, though. We need that experience and it's what makes the team strong.
I've done tons of public speaking so that's my strong point. Editing was a hobby of mine. I think biweekly (or even monthly to start) could definitely work, and there seems to be some good interest.
