Hello Neal,

I agree that the goal of generating more user group participation is
needed, however don't you think that decisions about canceling
meetings should be discussed first as we have done in the past?

I was a bit shocked by this unilateral decision though I understand
your goal in doing so and agree that more mail list participation
would be a useful thing.  I do not agree that removing the scheduled
meeting on the day it will be held is a good method to encourage
participation in the group.

If you simply don't want to run a meeting, I am sure others would step
forward to assist.
