I have been to the compiz fusion page, I have gone to Ubuntu forums but
cannot resolve this issue. I am in California, so I found you on the
Ubuntu website.
I cannot enable visual effects.
This proiblem is only on my user, not the other user desktop
I have downloaded CCSM.
I
can get to the CCSM by going to System>Preferences>Advanced
Visual Desktop Settings. All the visual effects I want are checked but
they dont work.
I have tried going to the terminal to enter several different commands. Those
are:
$ glxinfo | grep rendering
lspci | grep -i vga
$ rm -rf .compiz
compiz --replace
If you want to see the output I got from these commands, ask me.
