OLPCs run Linux and the sugarlabs.org interface they use is mostly written in Python. A team https://launchpad.net/~sugarteam is working to port the sugar packages to run better natively under Ubuntu. So far they are available through a PPA. This conference will have some of the most knowledgeable and experienced people in attendance from all over the world. I would enjoy seeing anyone else that can attend.
