Rather than an event, loco.ubuntu.com offers specific "Meeting" category that you can add irc-based team meetings to. We haven't really used this since we still use the wiki for meeting stuff, but now that time zone handling is fixed we could start maintaining the one in the LoCo directory too (just one more thing to do post-meeting).
