Hi Mark, I followed up on this as of this morning and found an article which I'm going to play around with some different settings. While the title is misleading it discusses good security practices. The other articles discusses the decision by Debian to change the Root to var/www/html from the previous Root of /var/www. http://askubuntu.com/questions/46331/how-to-avoid-using-sudo-when-working-in-var-www https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2012/04/msg00301.html -- Scott DuBois President EBLUG BSIT Software Engineering Freenode: Roguehorse -- Ubuntu-us-ca mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-us-ca
