Not to spam the list or anything (working on my day off and trying to do too
many things at once I suppose).
I actually live by screen as a top tool in my administration hand bag, in my
.bashrc I've added the alias:
alias screend='screen -A -m -d -S'
and after creating my .screenrc I have only added:
caption always "%{= kw}%-w%{= BW}%n %t%{-}%+w %-= @%H - %LD %d %LM - %c"
Which also creates the status bar at the bottom showing the screen name, server
name, and date and time on the bottom for me. = )
Even if/when the LTS servers start shipping with GUI's I'll be sticking to a
CLI through a minimal install, and using as few resources as possible. : )
Nice blog though. Is Dustin on this list?
