Hello, all. I don't see why discussion couldn't go on through the forums and the mailing list--with the wiki being used as a means in which we could document the candidates, their credentials and previous conversations. I understand simplification and reducing the routes in which we discuss this but, in fairness, each avenue has positives and negatives. One route may alienate individuals from the conversation.
I have the same bias as Jacob.
