It's an old guy thing in my humble opinion. I turned 50 this year and have been using Linux since 1994 or 95. If it's not Openbox or something else minimal it is in my way. To test and to be able to assist others on the Ubuntu forum I have used and tried to like the new GUI's. Not much to spark my interest. I don't want a fork of these GUI's I want things like dropbox and Amazon music downloads to function without jumping through hoops and wearing bells to work.
