NOTWITHSTANDING THE CONFUSING MESSAGE BELOW, it is my pleasure to announce that The Burning Circle will release a normal episode on Monday in the usual manner. The following matters may potentially arise during BC 88: 1. Initial reactions to finally getting 12.10 up and running on the BeagleBoard and why it was nearly impossible to do so during the development cycle due to a nasty kernel bug 2. Reflections on the SABDFL's "skunkworks" announcements 3. Relate any messages that The High Council may wish to make regarding the re-approval process 4. Relay to the statewide community any news about release parties such as the one set up by Mike Gilbert Please sound off and let me know of things to pass along in spoken form. We're not supposed to be a community of silent hermits. As we head into the re-approval process, we have to think of what kind of community we are. For as many people as we have freak out after receiving messages from the mailing list, where do we truly stand as a community? I do call upon The High Council (Jon Buckley, Cheri Francis, Michael Gilbert) to relate to me such messages as they wish to be conveyed about the re-approval process by no later than 7 PM today so it can be included at recording time. Even if we have to record at Auxiliary Control, there will in fact be an episode released.
