It doesn't matter much to me, though the intent was more of a melding than an eclipsing. The logo without the text hasn't seen much use, so I'm not sure a new variant would either. There's no reason both versions shouldn't be available, though.
The green/orange thing was intentionally Duck/Beaver oriented. I couldn't figure a good way to include yellow and black, though.
