Hi Oregubuntarians! (did I spell that correctly?) LibreOffice is returning to OSCON this week, and we're looking for a few more awesome people to help staff our booth.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 21 5:00PM - 6:00PM (Reception) Wednesday, July 22 10:00AM - 4:30PM 5:40PM - 7:00PM (Booth Crawl) Thursday, July 23 10:00AM - 5:00PM SKILLS: Experience with LibreOffice and other FOSS products like Ubuntu is a plus, but a helpful and positive attitude is much more important. In addition to talking about LibreOffice, we'll be showing-off our printed user manuals, demoing LibreOffice to interested users, and handing out stickers. Did you know that LibreOffice runs on Android? We currently have a LibreOffice Viewer, and are currently adding editing capabilities. DURATION: We're pretty flexible -- it'd be great for people to volunteer 3+ hours over the 3 days that the expo hall is open. PERKS: As a member of the booth team you'll get an Official LibreOffice T-shirt. CONCLUSION: If hanging out at a booth and telling everyone about the latest news about LibreOffice and Free Software sounds like your idea of a good time, then please ping me back and I'll make sure to get you set up with a pass, etc. We'd love to have you on board!
