That makes sense. I probably don't need to upgrade honestly because I have 2 systems already, but it is just so cheap. I can build a new one for less then 1000 bucks and give my old system to my little brother or something.

    Personally I have a 8320 and have been waiting for a new chip
    coming out from
    AMD.  I'm probably gonna get the 1700.

    Anyway, haven't seen any benchmarks for Linux though.
