Steps to reproduce (desktop only):

 - launch the browser, if the current tab is empty navigate to any URL and wait 
for it to fully load
 - click on the address bar to focus it
 - click the drawer button next to the address bar, then "New Tab"
 - verify that the new tab view opens, and that the address bar still has focus

Expected result: the address bar is cleared
Actual result: the address bar is not cleared
