Before installing public headers, we should ensure:

- QObjects with a public constructor all take an optional parent argument
- Objects that shouldn't be constructed by applications have private and hidden 
constructors where this is possible.
- Virtual functions that we override are marked with Q_DECL_OVERRIDE and 
protected where necessary.
- All #include statements are fully qualified (eg, <QtCore/QObject> rather than 
<QObject>)
