I can reproduce the issue with a simple oxide webview:

import QtQuick 2.4
import com.canonical.Oxide 1.15
WebView {
  url: "http://start.ubuntu.com";
}

** Package changed: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) => oxide

** Changed in: oxide
       Status: New => Confirmed
