> What to do now? Is this a bug which I need to report? Or do I need to give a command?
Hmm, that sounds pretty bad, but it's a different issue than you reported earlier, so yes you should report it as a separate bug. If you know how to use the command prompt, you'll want to copy off dmesg, /var/log/Xorg.0.log, and /var/log/gdm/:0.log. If you don't know how to use it, you can ask for assistance at http://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/ and they can walk you through the procedure. I suspect part of the issue is that i815 is no longer supported upstream, so it does not get tested or bug fixed. I hate to say it, but you may want to stick with 8.10 if that works for you, since we're unlikely to get much attention on this issue. -- [i815] graphics corruption while moving mouse / opening menus (UXA bug) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/373757 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
