Thanks for the update Bryce. I've updated the driver but continue to experience mouse freezes.
I'm working on the assumption that I'm not to add the PPA as a repository to my sources list, so instead I downloaded the following four packages and issued a 'dpkg -I *'. This is on a fully patched Jaunty on amd64. * nvidia-180-kernel-source * nvidia-180-libvdpau * nvidia-180-modaliases * nvidia-glx-180 Before beginning I completely removed the nvidia-185 driver I had been using, essentially reverting to the standard nvidia-180 driver. Then I did a 'dpkg -i *' which replaced the driver with the one you supplied. After completing the install I rebooted and attempted to play Nexuiz. The mouse locked up almost immediately after beginning a game. I rebooted again and went back in to Nexuiz and was able to play for about an hour without any issues, by far the best yet. However, tonight I tried to play again and went about 15-20 minutes before I experienced another mouse freeze. Again, this problem isn't specific to Nexuiz -- it does seem to occur whenever the graphics card is busy though. It will also freeze on me when running Kubuntu in fullscreen mode in a VirtualBox VM, for instance. I'm willing to do anything else I can to help test/reproduce/troubleshoot the problem. Please let me know next steps.
