Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nv

After update on Karmic and reboot, binary blob driver failed to load,
server failed to load NV and vesa drivers. Had to manually reconfigure
the X server to use Vesa in order to report this bug. Used apport to
automatically collect the information, but anything else you need I'll
report.

For now, back to an older kernel for me.
